BUSINESS OF THE WEEK Financial Solutions

Financial Solutions has been serving residents, businesses and institutions of Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County for over 27 years. Monica Littlefield, with Financial Solutions, is fully licensed and prepared to address every area of your wealth care plan and to help you design a comprehensive, personalized wealth care plan that puts you on the right track to achieve your goals.

It’s time to get to know Monica Littlefield, with Financial Solutions! Monica is married to Steve Littlefield (the World Champion Hopkins County Stew Cook), and together they have one daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren. She plays golf at least once a week with her Mimosa group of ladies, and she spends her weekends at Lake Quitman with her friends who are family. Over the last 27 years, Monica has served the community in various ways, through organizations such as Relay for Life, Pilot Club and United Way, and she currently serves on the board of the Terrific Tuesday Respite Program. Monica’s devotion to the community has allowed her to create many lasting friendships, and she told us that she feels very appreciative of all the work that others do to make this place so great. 😊

Monica Littlefield is the owner of our Business of the Week, Financial Solutions! She went to the University of North Texas and graduated with a degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, she went to work for a CPA firm in Commerce, TX, preparing taxes and doing write up work for several businesses. She had the intention to sit for the CPA exam, but she changed her career path after being introduced to the financial planning division of the company and being able to help people achieve their financial goals. After the CPA firm sold, she had the opportunity to provide financial services in Sulphur Springs, and that led to her moving her client base to an office in Windsor Plaza, where she continues to provide services to over 300 clients.

Monica enjoys helping people achieve their goals and dreams. After 27 years, she has seen quite a few clients grow their families, achieve career goals and finally get to retire, and it is very rewarding for her to know that she helped them get to where they wanted to be. Monica wanted the community to know that it is never too late to get started saving for a financial goal or dream. Whether it is a down payment on a new house, the start to a child or grandchild’s college fund, saving for a dream vacation or saving for early retirement, she encourages everyone to just get started! 🥰
