Summit Dental

When we visited our Business of the Week on Tuesday, we had the pleasure of learning the story behind Summit Dental and how it got to where it is today. It’s pretty sweet!!! Dr. Matthew Johnson married his “trophy wife,” Karla, 30 years ago, and together they have two children, Kye and Alaina. He has been involved in dentistry for over 21 years, and he chose that line of work because he has a “love for people” and a “desire to make a difference in their lives.”

Within those 21 years, he has built Summit Dental from the ground up, with the help of a staff that he described as simply perfect, fun, and not at all selfish! Make sure you schedule an appointment with Summit Dental, the next time you need a cleaning, and prepare to receive the highest quality of care!

Every year, Dr. Johnson, along with other dentists in the community, team up to host an event called “Dentistry from the Heart,” through which they provide free cleanings, extractions and fillings to those in the area who need them. Through this event, the team of local dentists has been able to improve the smiles of hundreds of people in the community! This will be the 8th year of DFTH, and Dr. Johnson told us that he is already looking forward to it, and he loves how well all of the local dentists can work together to make it happen!
